Copy your receipt, send it, and keep the original. :)
What about the UPC codes, would I need them if I wanted to bring the computer into an Apple Store or something?

AT&T store in the same complex -
Screw this place.
5 hour wait.
No iPhones.
100-150 people waiting...told us nothing till the last iPhone sold out.
Pissed off. I'm going to apple! They have tons.

I'm afraid you'll be in the US$200 range (assuming you're using US currency). A new dell ultrasharp 17" will be less than $300, and a dell 2005fpw can be had between $400 and $500 (occasionally below $400)

If the Dual 1.5 GHz machine were a shipping product, the KnowledgeBase reference to it would be of no consequence. If it were a future product, then Apple would simply incorporate the update in the installed OS before it ships. No update would be necessary. Furthermore, you will notice that there is no reference to the dual 1.25 GHz machines. Clearly, this is a mistake. The only logical explanation is that the typist omitted the "2" in "1.25 GHz.

Hi everyone!
I am a bit new to Illustrator, and graphic design, but I've been using it long enough to know that the paintbrush tool is not working. Whenever I press on it in the tool bar, and/or press b, and it just gives me this symbol, and makes a line while I'm drawing, but the line goes away after.
I've done a software updates for Adobe and my Mac, restarted Illustrator, restarted my computer, and it just doesn't work!
FYI: it has the same symbol when I go into the pencil tool (I don't know if it is the right one for the pencil either.)
HELP!
Thank you!

Is that thru USB or Wifi?
Why not try another way of connecting your Mac? You have 3 options, Wifi, Bluetooth and USB.
It's using wifi. I don't know how to get the USB option to work, and didn't even know that MyWi supported Bluetooth.

I recently got the Revolve xeMini Plus charging kit for my iPhone. Now, I can recharge in the car, from the wall, with solar, from the computer, or even from the internal backup battery. It's been a life saver more than once! Highly recommended!

It looks like there is possible to mount an own SSD now? didn't the last iMac require some kind of Apple supplied mountingkit which you only got when you bought the SSD option?
Yes, it SEEMS that another hard drive can now be fit under the optical drive bay without such an adapter. However, these mounting holes you can see on iFixIt are still not the standard way to attach harddrives, so some sort of adapter might still be required.
On a sidenote, when I was talking to the (very friendly) Apple store employee on the phone yesterday to order my 27" iMac, I was asking the very same question. He put me on hold to talk to a tech-guy about this issue, and came up with the response that an Apple service partner will be able to fit in an additional SSD later. I'm not too certain that this will be true, maybe he just misunderstood my question and meant that the service partner can replace the current harddisk with an SSD (instead of adding an additional one), so I'll remain sceptical.
But the iFixIt-teardown has given me hope that it might in fact be easier now to add another harddrive without BTO.

Since the general feeling seems to be dual core only at the top end of the PM line, between the lastest rev 2x2G and the last rev 2x2.5G, which should I choose?
There is (where I am) a c.$400 price difference... The only difference on paper that I see, besides the speed and RAM expandability, is the 8x vs 16x+dual Superdrives.
1. I will not burn dual layers anyway for the long foreseeable future.
2. My usage is photoshop and hobby level iMovie HD and soon FCE.
3. 2.5RAM today seems right size and price wise.
4. I am uncertain about the addition price bringing noticable speed improvement.
Thanks! (You solved my questions last time with solid advice!) :)
